This site uses an ElegantThemes base which I then modified to fit my needs. Local photographer Amanda Finley took a lot of these lovely photos which I then photoshopped to fit the site (color changes, edited out people who walked into the scene, removed dark eye circles, etc…). I also designed the “heart and glasses” logo in the header.

Project Name: Mid-America Web CMS

Project Year: 2007-Present

Project Description:
While working at Mid-America Web I developed an in house CMS written in C#. It currently has hundreds of users, including tons government organizations, real estate, eCommerce sites, lawyers, gyms, construction companies and artists. It is one of the easiest to use and flexible CMS products in the market.

Work Description:

High School Sports Center is a project that started in 2010 and has continues to be developed over time. It was designed to be a one stop shop for all information related to high school sports, including coach and student profiles, game schedules and stats, articles about games, schools, and players, and much, much more.

The whole heart of the application is the extensive admin panel, which allows the users of the site to change nearly all the content on the site. It also splits off into separate admin panels for the different types of users, like students, coaches, and journalists.

It was an long project with many hours, but it was a lot of fun to architect and implement something as complex and involved as this project. It’s a testament to my ability to work on all aspects of a web application, as I did the branding, the majority of the design, the jQuery, the AJAX, the web services, the database, the stored procedures, and all of the coding.
